The Pom team is making new additions and a few changes this year. A new Game-Day Uniform, a plan to attend two competitions, new routines, along with new head coach Tasha Hinex.

Pom is preparing for Game-Day State and has already started preparing for Jazz State as well.

“For the first time we’re competing at two competitions, and since we didn’t do Jazz state last year, I am very excited for that,” senior Pom member Avery Payne said.

Assistant Coach Grace Sanchez hopes the girls will be happy with what they accomplish this year.

“They’ve been working really hard, and I want them to feel that way,” Sanchez said. “And at the end of the year, I want them to know no matter what happens we worked hard, and we earned what we got.”

Game-Day State is Nov. 12, and Jazz State Dec. 10.
