Renovations make library more functional for users

Completion of the library renovation, which will provide space for multiple classes to meet, along with two quiet rooms, and a research area, is expected to be done by early November, according to Principal David Morton.

“The renovation was a little more difficult with the delay of many materials,” Morton said.

Although a delay in the shipment of ceiling tiles and lighting slowed the renovation by around 12 weeks, Morton says the renovations are now on track for completion.

Morton wanted to make the library more comfortable and functional for students. Students will have access to the new laptops, to quiet study rooms, and an area where two classes can meet to collaborate.

Morton is excited for the library to be finished as he says, “The library is the centerpiece of the school.”
