Sophomore Nate Steiner and his grandmother Jo Kamphaus sing during the Grandparents Day prayer service. The sophomore leadership class concluded the service by inviting everyone to join them in singing “Amazing Grace.” “My favorite part about seeing my grandparents today was how excited they were to see me,” Steiner said.

Grandparents Day
Senior Colin Le greets grandparents coming into the chapel for the Grandparents Day prayer service. This was the first time Grandparents Day has been held in person since 2019. “It feels good to appreciate the grandparents in person, and to see the joy in the grandparents,” Le said.

Senior Brett Jacobs and his grandparents Alice and Ron Jacobs laugh with Principal David Morton. Alice and Ron Jacobs have attended Grandparents Day for 15 years here, and as the youngest, it was important for Brett Jacobs to make their last Grandparents Day here special. “My favorite part of spending the morning with my grandparents was that I got to start off my day seeing their smiles,” Brett Jacobs said. “I knew they were happy and it’s always fun to spend time with them no matter what.”
