The annual girls Kairos retreat is happening from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Camp.

Campus Minister Kelly Allen said that Kairos is different from other retreats because it’s a lot of learning how God fits into your life

“At Kairos you can really be your authentic, true self,” Allen said.

Students can get involved in their junior and senior years either as retreatants or as leaders if they have already gone junior year.

Allen said that there is a balance of doing a lot of different things at Kairos, but mostly it is about having time to relax.

Senior Catherine Nguyen said going on Kairos her Junior year was such a beautiful experience.

“To get the most out of Kairos, you need to be open minded and put in what you want out of it,” Nguyen said.

Nguyen said she is looking forward to being in a leadership position and being able to help other students grow in their faith and relationship with God.
