The results are in, and the freshmen student council leaders have been chosen.
Jack Taylor was elected freshman class president and is in charge of leading class meetings, serving on class boards, and designing the hall decorations in freshman hall. Kendra Wadmia was elected freshman vice president and is responsible for designing and updating bulletin boards and publicizing events, and she is in charge of meetings if Taylor is not present. Morgan Corey was elected freshman treasurer and is in charge of coordinating money from different events.
”I want to make a difference in our school,” Taylor said. “ I would like to better represent the ideals and opinions of my fellow freshman peers so we can all have a fruitful and prosperous year.”
All of the candidates hung up posters, campaigned on social media, and gained support from friends to gather votes.
“It was all very fun,” Wadmia said. “Coming up with little slogans was probably my favorite part.”
The freshmen senators are Olivia Chumo, Anna Kate Connolly, Kennedy Dressel, Ryan Flinn, Camryn Kanaly, Callie Keating, Anna McFadden, Blair Newby, Emilia Petrik, Hutch Ratzlaff, Franny Santos, Ben Schoeffler, Susie Shelley, Dylan Toppins and Carolina Tilley.
