Sophomore Angela Williams got the opportunity to display and sell her art at the Paseo Arts and Creativity Center.
The line art titled “Bride of Frankenstein” was sold last Thursday for $200 during the March Show. She submitted the piece as a backup under the “Storytellers” category not expecting to get anything out of it.
Williams says the piece took four hours to draw and was initially intended for her principles of design class.
“I didn’t expect it to be the one that got me in at all because I spent all day making two other submissions,” Williams said. “‘The Bride’ was an ink drawing I did in class.”
