Prom is just around the corner and the Junior class student council members have been busy planning and organizing all the details. The council chose the theme masquerade.
Class President Ashlyn Dolan was excited to implement new ideas for prom.
“I’m wanting to have card games there like poker so people have more things to do,” Dolan said.
To delegate her responsibilities, Dolan had the rest of the council sign up for the committees. The committees consist of food and music, prom decorations, marketing and logistics.
Class Senator Olesya Rodgers is the head of prom decorations.
“I chose the decorations committee because I love being creative and we’ve come up with lots of new ideas for decorations and photo backdrops,” Rodgers said.
The juniors started planning in January with weekly meetings . Prom is scheduled for April 6 at Will Rogers Theater. The prom bid price increases to $60 April 18 and can be purchased online at https://www.bmchs.org/student-life/prom-2024?
