Dominated by freshman, the young fast pitch team has had a challenging start to the season with only four wins.
However, Coach Jason Bass sees a lot of potential within the team. He anticipates Newcastle High school being the toughest competition of the season. The girls lost to Newcastle Aug. 22, but will face them again Sept. 18
“We haven’t seen too many home runs hit on our field in the seven years i’ve been here, and [Newcastle] was the most I’ve ever seen hit combined by an opposing team,” Bass said.
The team faces the Blanchard Lions at home tonight at 5 p.m.
