After lots of planning and discussing, as spring homecoming week approaches National Honor Society got together to plan a chili cook off associated with the annual trivia night. 

NHS hosts an annual trivia night every year during spring  Homecoming that features teams of students and teachers competing to win a prize. This year they decided to add a spin to the night and feature a chili cook off as well. 

“We were trying to think of a way to spice it up, and also provide more opportunities for people to get involved,” NHS president Price Collier said. 

Along with NHS, the French and Spanish National Honor Societies will be in attendance and the spring Homecoming court will be there. 

“They’re going to be in attendance with the other national honor societies that we’ve invited,” Collier said. 

The event will be held on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. in the commons.
